I got the hot swappable version. Everything is fantastic, works like a charm on mac and windows. Got brown switch. Awesome typing experience. One complain I have is the visibility of black keys printing. Its very difficulty yo read the black key labels. White keys are super crisp to read but I have turn the RGB on to read the black keys. It consumes a lot of battery. I have to order some replacement keys as black keys are almost not usable for me.

Used it for couple of days, till now it’s an amazing keyboard. Seamless connection with Windows and Linux. Haven’t tested the mac mode but should work. And the battery, well the time will tell.
There are complaints online regarding the legends on the black keys, but looks like they were exaggerated, the legends on the black keys are a bit less clear than on the white keys but they are perfectly readable and look nice without or without the backlight. It’s not a deal breaker, at least for me. Tho I believe keychron can ship it with spare white replacement of these black keys? An all white keyboard will look nice too.
Overall a great keyboard to buy.

I’ve recently purchased the Keychron K2 V2 Hot-Swappable keyboard. My keyboard has Red switches so it’s comparatively quieter and smoother.
I like the board but the colourway isn’t something I’m fond of. I would have preferred a matt black colourway option as well. Even the Keychron grey looks nicer than this.
Other than that, the keyboard feels amazing.

Amazing board! Switching between two laptops is seamless and the response time is awesome. Love the gateron red keys and rgb light. The only improvement needed is if we get an additional wireless dongle along with USB & Bluetooth, it would have been a cherry on the top.

Writing this review on the very first day I received the product, so it’s not a long term review, but more like a first impression. The first think to keep in mind is that you’re getting the same keyboard in US for around 6.6k so most of the reviews are based around that price, but we all know the heavy taxation in India already so nothing new.
This is my first keyboard with brown switches, the last one was blue ones from amazon for 2.5k, so that was a cheap clicky keyboard and very noisy. I’m loving the new buttery smooth typing experience, but when people say that brown switches are clicky then they’re lying ( but you don’t need the click imo, at least I don’t since I need to do a lot of typing during the meetings with a mic on). The RGB settings are good.
Works great on Linux and many action keys too were working out of the box. Overall 5/5. Love it.
One last disclaimer: when I brought it, I was unable to find a single wireless ~75% layout in India from any reputed brand, so my options were limited and it may not be the best valueForMoney product to buy when you’re buying it.

The form factor, the build quality, the feel, the materials used are totally superb and high quality.
I went with the Red switches but I think Brown switches will give you more precise typing experience as red switches are linear and very very smooth.
Its very sturdy and the RGB light effects are superb you wont get bored changing the light effects.
You can type whole day on this keyboard and your fingers wont get tired at all.
But a palm rest is needed as the keyboard has little more height due to mechanical build.
Best mechanical keyboard in this price range in India.
Connectivity and awake from sleep is super fast, you can connect upto 3 devices at a time
Default MacOS layout was a plus for me, you can toggle to Windows mode if you are using it and also has keys that you can replace to suit the Windows layout
Must must buy if you wann try and get an entry into mechanical keyboadr world.
This will last you for years considering its build quality and hot-swappable feature
No seconds thought if you have the budget go for it you wont regret the decision

I’ve had this keyboard for about 2 weeks now and I must say it is not at all a disappointment. I did not find any Imperfections in the product I bought the red switches and I regret it as I would’ve preferred browns for better typing experiences but they are hot-swappable and that is very good but still, these are one of the best reds I’ve had the opportunity to experience. Overall I think nothing ill of this product at this price point its a damn good purchase and personally, I wouldn’t go for the metal frame the plastic one is just fine! Great Product.

– One suggestion, wakeup from sleep when using with Bluetooth is slow and keyboard always misses a couple of initial keypresses when it wakes up. Firmware is not open source otherwise i would have tried patching the issue. Cay Keychron try implementing a keystroke buffer and buffer the keystrokes while bluthooth connection resumes and then send these initial keystrokes to PC.

I’ve had the aluminium hot-swappable version with blue switches. As someone who enjoys the tactile typing experience that the blues provide, this has been very fulfilling. The keyboard is solid, well built, and has absolutely no flex. The 2 stage legs have good angles and I’ve been using the keyboard without a palm rest without any issues. The RGB lighting is an awesome aesthetic feature to have. The lettering on the black keys are slightly harder to read at some angles, but touch typing and using the backlighting solve any issues.
Cleaning the keyboard is a breeze with the included keycap and switch pullers included. Battery life has been great, and it charges up quite fast. Works when connected to a powerbank as well.
As a mac user, the options for non-apple keyboards that are mac-compatible are very limited. This Keychron K2 is an awesome product, and complements the great Apple build quality well.
Hoping other keyboards from Keychron are released soon.

Initial impression;
1) Full marks on the stabilizers, especially when compared to other mechanical keyboards available in the market. Minimal rattle. Really appreciate for this.
2) I have opted for Gateron red switches. It is smooth and produces kind of poppy sound.
3) The board feels hollow, so some key press does not sound too good.
4) The function keys are not illuminated in dark, only their secondary functions are illuminated.

Quite happy with the purchase. The typing experience is amazing. I was not sure if the white-black color scheme would be appealing, but having used it for a month, I prefer this. I got the red switches which sound relatively quieter. I wanted to try K6 for it’s compact size but got this one as I needed the delete and the function keys. Note however, it is heavy and therefore may not be as convenient to carry as the K6.

This is the best keyboard for the price and the customer service for India is probably the best.
I placed my order for the k2 v2 hot swappable and i received it with in 4 days (note i live in a small town) and when i opened the box i didn’t received the transparent dust protection cover then i contacted the customer service and they literally said we will send you,
Even big companies like HyperX and Logitech doesn’t even come close i have experienced all.
If i can i would have given a 10 star review for the keyboard and for the service.

This is my first step in to the world of Mechanical Keyboards and this is one of the best mechanical keyboard that is available in India at this price to start with. I am enjoying the feel and experience I am getting while using this keyboard. I am a windows user. I am using this keyboard in my day to day programming being a software developer. This keyboard has certainly increased my productivity as I am enjoying typing on this keyboard. The battery backup is excellent. I have charged only once since I bought. Excellent keyboard with solid finish and quality. While I use it with macOS and Windows, found a bit annoying toggling between. There must be OS auto detection and accordingly keys should settle down to required layout, instead of switching through the selector switch. Secondly, right shift key is shorter then regular Apple Keyboard, for those switching from Apple KB, it’s tricky. I will choose K8 Pro next time, and would recommend to go for 80%, the K8 Pro, would be easy to handle if you switching to such a keyboard for the very first time, and willing to give up shine through key-caps. Black & White theme looks great, but will try changing black with Gray someday. Keychron should consider supplying PBT key-caps in this model. Rest everything is amazing with this KB…
