The K8 Max is a wireless mechanical keyboard with a 80% layout. It supports 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and wired connections. Configurable through QMK and Keychron Launcher web app, it offers endless possibilities and enhanced productivity in your work and gaming!
The K8 Max upgraded the typing experience with multiple layers of acoustic foams, such as IXPE, PET, and EPDM, ensuring a superior sound and typing experience.
2.4 GHz & Bluetooth Connection
Experience peak gaming performance on the fly with the 2.4 GHz wireless connection boasting a rapid 1000 Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking across your computer, phone, and tablet, you can effortlessly connect the K8 Max via Bluetooth 5.1 to three devices.
Program with QMK & Launcher.
The open-source QMK firmware means endless possibilities for key remapping, macros, shortcuts, and more. Now you can easily customize each key with the Keychron Launcher web app.

Significantly Enhanced Acoustic Foams
Elevate your typing with K8 Max featuring advanced IXPE acoustic foam for enhanced comfort, coupled with resilient EDPM foam for superior key switch support, responsiveness, and durability. The steel plate provides responsive feedback and a peaceful typing sound, while added weight will enhance the stability.
Suitable For All Devices
Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility with Windows devices, the K8 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
An Epic Core Inside
A powerful ARM architecture MCU equipped with 256KB Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz on 2.4GHz and wired modes right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.
Hot-swappable
We also provide a hot-swappable version for your choice, which means you can customize your typing experience without soldering, pop them in and it’s done.
Every detail matters for a personalized typing experience, that’s why we give you the power. You can hot-swap every switch on the K8 Max with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX style mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering. You can customize your own typing experience in seconds.
Keychron Super Switch
Our exclusive Keychron Super switch adopts a new mold with unparalleled precision. Every switch is tested for pro-grade quality and has a lifespan of up to 50 million clicks, providing great reliability and high performance for long typing sessions. Its new light affection structure on its transparent top housing also ensures high light transmittance and a more consistent, brighter backlight effect.
OSA Profile Double-shot PBT Keycaps
To further fine-tune your typing experience, the K8 Max comes with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical-angle) and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use on the timeless tenkeyless layout.
Screw-In PCB Stabilizers
Even small part matters for your fingertip feel. We’ve integrated the PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobbliness on the big keys such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete. You can even customize it with alternative stabilizers such as Cherry or Durock.
South-facing RGB Lights
The south-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the user installs Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on their keyboard.
Comes with more than 22 types of RGB backlight settings. You can further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, effect speed with ease.

Great keyboards, great recommendation
The staff here were very polite and let me try out all the keyboards I was interested in. They've got all the keyboards from the website on display, every model is available to experiment with.
The store is really amazing, they have almost all the models of keyboard available with them that's in stock and you can test them all out with different keys and stuff! The store is very well organized and it's nice to be able to see and press and check the keys and pick which one you like the most. I got my first keyboard from their brand K8 Red switches but as a bummer the bluetooth of it has some driver issues, I tried different devices and stuff but it wasn't working after connecting at all. I called them up the next day they asked me to bring the keyboard over, they checked and immediately replaced it with a new keyboard which I tested right then and there and it works amazing!! I really appreciate such a nice customer support without dragging the customer through much hassle of replacement process, they just tested it got changed it immediately, it was really the best experience for me to buy things from the store, the keyboard feels sooo good to type on. I am coming from a blue mechanical switches but these red feel really amazing and so soft and buttery to type on!
I visited the store. The experience was good, and the staff were helpful. Most of the models are available. I got the K3 Pro low profile for a cheaper price than online.
I stopped by Keychron store recently to grab a keyboard, and the experience was pretty solid. The staff there was good, super helpful. The only downside was that few of the items I wanted were out of stock. It was a bit frustrating since I had a specific list in mind. Hopefully, they’ll restock soon. All in all, great service but would love to see more items available next time. I’ll definitely be back!
